It was bad enough walking across the 'dirty' bridge with a woman dressed as a Christmas Tree...luckily she was a Boro fan! But what was that stupid bint in white walking by Kingsland stand with a crystal ball about? Anyone see that? |

Was there yesterday with family running the half marathon - cripes those Kenyans are bloody good they dont even look as though they are running. Brains £2.30 a pint very clean city, a great event hosted and well supported. I saw a few Saints shirts and a few runners from Southampton as well. Shame Cardiff were away would have loved to have seen Lambert play for them - miss him and the way he pulled us up from the leagues. |

The 1865 are pleased to present American punk rock legends The Dickies - 14th August 2016. The Dickies are the clown princes of punk, not to mention surprisingly longstanding veterans of the L.A. scene. In fact, by the new millennium, they’d become the oldest surviving punk band still recording new material. In contrast to the snotty, intentionally offensive humor of many comedically inclined punk bands, the Dickies were winningly goofy, inspired mostly by trashy movies and other pop culture camp. Their covers were just as ridiculous as their originals, transforming arena rock anthems and bubblegum pop chestnuts alike into the loud, speed-blur punk-pop — basically the Ramones crossed with L.A. hardcore — that was their musical stock in trade. -- Doors: 7pm Tickets: http://www.seetickets.com/event/the-dickies/the-1865/997896 |

Man City (Channon) v Chelsea (Osgood) from 1979 on ITV this morning played on a snow bound pitch gosh it was terrible. What I found amusing was the comment "Chelsea have only won 2 games this season" amazing how footballs has such highs and lows. One of my favourite old games from The Dell was when we beat Chelsea 5-0 and they had Hutchison and Hudson making debuts. |
