Shame he is missing, as not only has he been great recently, but scored a cracker against them at Selhurst Park, in our 2-0 win last season.

One player injured for one game and it's going to be a long season before we've even kicked a ball in anger??? Even by a seasoned Saints fan's standards that's a little over the top.
I'm going to go left field and suggest Vallery moves up to play right flank. He can't defend but when unshackled of those responsibilities he might have confidence to use his abundant skill and pace to take on players and provide support (he's not very good at crossing either, but for one game he might be able to overcome that). | | | |

I think Boufal is very capable, has skill in abundance and can change games - but is as equally frustrating and has not done enough when given chances - be it here or on loan. He is into the last year of his contract and the club probably feels that if they are to get anything for him, they have to sell this window. Yes there are others that I personally would get rid of before Boufal, but think Saints would cash in if they got a decent offer. | |
