Zero points from 3 bankers', only Saints can do this. They should be embarrassed.

With the speed that premier League teams adapt to how other sides play, I think we have been sussed. Teams are happy to let us have possession but drop back tight. Just about all our passes go behind our players to be able to retain possession. So we end up aimlessly passing the ball from side to side looking for a way through, indulging in silly flicks that just hand back possession or hitting through balls against defenders legs. The direct threats of Broja and Stu Armstrong seem to have petered out for the minute so we are fairly toothless.

When other side's get the ball they hit us quickly on the break because 3 of our defenders are up the pitch. For the last 2 games Salisu hasn't performed well for most of the first half, so good chances have been created and goals scored against us.

Given the lack of funding over the last few seasons and poor recruitment prior to that, we still don't have the deepest of squads. So, to make further progress this season, we need to adapt our game plan. That's life!

Total Embarrassment. Why play slow tippy tappy football across our own defence this can only lead to mistakes as it did. Why did Adam Armstrong not start after his performance on Thursday night?

Frustrating because a month ago we would have put this lot to the sword, regardless of their time wasting tactics that the ref failed utterly to deal with.

RH is correct when he says that the PL has to deal with teams adopting these tactics. Perhaps allowing the trainers on without being instructed and stopping play only if it goes near a player being treated. A player being treated who makes a miraculous recovery to join the game coming near him = yellow card and free kick.

The team as a whole was leaden and lacked intensity. True, building up a head of steam and pressure was not possible, but even when we had the ball we did little with it.

Their first goal was a comedy. All the defenders and keeper can take the blame for that.

The FBs were probably our best players on the day. Even the changes in formation (baffling) did not prevent them going forward. The midfield was poor with way too much going sideways. When Ely and SA did make a run forward, it was not rewarded with a pass.

Che Adams did his best but Smallbone in the first half was lost and Broja was ineffective when he came on.

Worst player on the pitch by a margin was Salisu. His positioning and timing was way off and he could not pass the ball 10 yards. I would have replaced him at half time as well.

RH has a confidence building job to do because otherwise I can see a record QF score against us.

Odd team selection. Why only one striker? Why no Adam Armstrong given Broja looks out of sorts and he looked lively on Thursday? Why Will Smallbone after being taken off at half time on Thursday? Any answers?

Out managed, out thought, out fought, out played. Can someone tell Ralph we can't win with four CB's? While you're at it tell him Smallbone is L1 standard. Oh, and Long is not an impact player, only when he falls over on his arse.

Very very poor performance from top to bottom. Expected a few changes after some tired performance on Thursday, especially with the cup game coming up. Adam Armstrong looked lively enough on his cameo Thursday, to be given a run for the rested Broja. Stu Armstrong needed a rest and maybe Ely too?
Biggest concern for me is that when teams don't allow our full backs space behind them we seem to have no ideas and resort to our sideways and backwards style. Lets not over work in training this week because we need to be a bit more on it for Sunday!

Worst performance of the season.
An absolute abortion from everyone.
Complacent team, no urgency, can't pass and full of unforced errors.

Why 1 up front against a team that just conceded 4 ?
RH obviously experimenting for his formation for the Q Final.
It backfired against Watford, so v City is will be another disaster.

Sali and FF had absolute shockers, the rest weren't far behind.
Both goals were so avoidable, but again we are the gift that keeps on giving.
Even for the 2nd goal, Perraud had TWO men to mark in the box, but decided to watch it go over his head and leave a man free at the far post.
We were lucky not to concede a couple more.

I've never seen us give the ball away so much through bad passing and unforced errors.

Despite all that, how was it not a penalty ? Arm is well above the head in an unnatural position. Arsenal get given a pen when it clips the guys fingers FFS.
