When we signed him we were told it'd take a few weeks to get him to 'Rochdale' fitness. I also always saw him as an impact player when we signed him. He was about to come on against Burton but we scored so KH changed his mind lol.
Reasonably happy with the team. Always happier to see Allen in the team! And good to see Cav back in the line-up. Don't think JK has done anything wrong though. Same goes for the Lancashire/Eastham change. [Post edited 22 Feb 2014 14:34]

We don't know what goes on in training and Bunney may be more than happy being in and out of the squad, but he's always looked to have something for me and his enthusiasm, footballing brain and ability surpass the attributes of Donnelly right now.
Similarly it'd be interesting to hear why Eastham was left out. Could be a slight injury maybe, but changing centre halves who have played well together doesn't usually happen. Have to admit I wasn't to sure about Eastham after the first few games, but it's a case of say what you see and he's played well recently. |  |

I thought Eastham was at fault for the Morecambe goal last week. He looked uncomfortable with the ball over the top, allowing Redshaw in.
Its good management to have Gray back in the ranks. I'm sure it looked to everyone including Gray that he was going to be released at the end of the season. That might still happen, but these cameos off the bench have at least shown him that he can play league football and there is a purpose to turning up every day.

Yep, I half expected Eastham to be left out after seeing the replay of that Morecambe goal, but he responded well on Tuesday. I prefer Lancashire, but would be interesting to find out why the change was made. | |
