Thousands in attendance with thousands more not being able to make it as trains where full coming from cardiff. Also busts the myth that theres no support for independence in the south. A bit like your thick head then. Facts, truth and reality fail to enter it.

What facts ? Like the fact that there’s more chance of put your foot in rocking horse shite than Wales gaining independence. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Independence march merthyr on 20:07 - Sep 8 with 1603 views | Dr_Winston | Whilst you could certainly make a case that Scotland will leave the Union at some point (I'm not all that convinced it's cut and dried, but could be wrong) I'm somewhat puzzled at the idea that Wales will soon follow. Support for independence in Wales habitually hovers at around 10%. The idea that Brexit (which Wales voted for) will lead to a massive increase in that is unlikely. I will conced that it will certainly lead to an increase in the amount of people banging on about it, but that's not the same thing.

When people start getting poorer and losing their jobs they will be more favourable.

Yes, and there's actually greater support for getting rid of the Welsh Assembly than there is for Independence. But the 10% NAT's make a lot more noise than the remaining 90% on account of their empty heads, and that does make them more of a problem.

Independence march merthyr on 14:28 - Sep 8 by CwmafanJack | I have to I have no choice because norrow minded clowns like yourself have made no interest to even learn the language of our country that's not hypocrisy. You might think its "grotesque and embarrassing " but a lot more people would say it's even more so of any welsh person worshiping a foreign flag and union before there own actual nation. As I said little england will welcome you with open arms Wales will be for the better after you leave. |
You’ll be flying the EU flag if we leave no doubt. Typical small minded “little Waleser “. Hatred of all things English and a massive inferiority complex. Why people don’t instead trumpet what we’ve given to the UK as a whole I’ll never understand. Great Britain is massively influenced by Wales. The fact we don’t appear on some flag is immaterial. There’s hardly many in the modern world who don’t know the Welsh flag.

Spent the weekend at a UK wide sports and social event. People from all four corners of Great Britain competing and socialising in a wide range of events. Would have horrified some contributors.

Independence march merthyr on 18:42 - Sep 8 by perchrockjack | Llanelli a Welsh speaking town? All of South Wales major industrial towns were English speaking and highly anglicised and that s ok. We married Englsih women and thousands of us have West Country stock. It ok. Jeez, many have Irish ancestry because people came to Wales to find work, exactly like they do when they leave Welsh villages for work on England. It's as it's always been. The same gang on here ,ebo, johnlangy, and bizarrely named Killkenny leading the way ,as always, into the dark. Come on boys. Btw,Wales could not survive flogging water to England and the Kunts would get it from elsewhere. plenty in Cumbria,Derbyshire and Yorks. We need to be outward thinking like our great industrial innovators were. Look up |
Welsh language In the mid-20th century, Llanelli was the largest town in the world where more than half the population spoke a Celtic language.[8] It is ranked the 7th largest urban area in Wales. According to the 2011 UK Census returns, 23.7% of Llanelli town residents could speak the Welsh language. However the area around Llanelli is a Welsh stronghold where 56% speak Welsh, in communities such as Llwynhendy and Burry Port. Parc y scarlets is another clue. Please try to keep up.

10% ? Well only if you ignore the most recent polling in Wales i guess ... ? ‘Plaid Cymru have taken a three-point lead over Labour in a “historic” Welsh Assembly poll. The poll shows Plaid Cymru on 24%, while Labour falls to 21% and the Conservatives are on 19%. The poll was carried out by ITV and YouGov.’ Facts are facts.

And the Brexit party lol? You do seem to ignore the fact that Wales voted overwhelmingly for Brexit. And crow about the number of Welsh speakers in Llanelli actually falling by half! Blind optimism doesn’t even come close! [Post edited 8 Sep 2019 21:44]

I'd hardly call opinion polls facts, Plaid have about much chance of being the ruling party, as Cardiff have of winning the Championship
