Her impact is extraordinary. There’s never been anything like it even if the scramble by politicians to be associated with her does leave a taste of sick in the back of my throat.

Not patronising in the slightest. I wouldn't dream to presume to be knowledgeable on the subject. I also wouldn't dream of accusing somebody's parents of not looking after their child because I disagree with their views on climate change.

Who accused anybody of anything?

Its just a ride.

Oh loads are. Which is pretty insulting to them and her.

I may well be viewing this pretty simplistic but here we have a 16 year old girl who feels passionately about something, and who can blame her given the subject matter, and her parents have facilitated her ability to pursue that passion as things escalated. Good on them and her I say.

She is inspiring. As a parent of a teenager with ASD and the less known selective
Mutism which Greta also has, to overcome these and speak with passion and eloquence is testament to her belief in the cause. The look she gave Trump yesterday was truly priceless

She has made me reflect a bit more. Of course I am a bloody hypocrite flying to Asia four time this year, but I certainly considered the pollution and plastic contamination of rivers in Bangkok last week far more than on previous visits.

A girl whom I think may be exploited by some as a virtue-signalling/self publicity prop by some. Has Bono showed up to have his photograph with her yet?

I agree. Her impact on politics and the media is extraordinary, but I don't feel it myself.

Is she really a prophet or a puppet of her publicity loving parents who are living their lives vicariously through her?

Tea time, clever clogs. Me and one of the Beagles strolled up in the bloody rain to check the house AND I bagged the gigantic turd she insisted on doing in full view of every bugger on the main road.

Yeah. They're very concerned, fair play.

I have definitely been impacted by the palm oil advert last Christmas (the Iceland one).

So these things do affect us.
