Was thinking that as well, should be no where near the squad

Accy on 17:13 - Jan 1 with 2779 views | funkkk | Well done Dale much improved though we still rode our luck at times. Midfield looked much more of a unit and we always have a threat when Hendo is on the pitch. Nervy at the end but we held on ðŸ‘🼠| | | | Login to get fewer ads
Accy on 17:16 - Jan 1 with 2710 views | 1907 | Can I just say Jimmy Ryan is really coming into his own at the minute. Been class the last two games.
Accy on 17:20 - Jan 1 with 2654 views | isitme | I thought Ryan had a really good game and overall we were good value for the win. We scored two well worked goals but at time we are still going backwards when a forward ball was on. Baah caused their right back all sorts of problems but he didn't get fed the ball enough. Not sure how Andrew missed the chance at the end. Hopefully the injury problems are starting to clear up.
Accy on 17:29 - Jan 1 with 2524 views | DareToCalvin | Much better from a much healthier looking squad. O’Connell and McShane immense as ever, Ryan I thought was absolute class and is really coming into his own after his injuries last season. Baah absolutely superb, we really need to make the most of him and Tavares and get them running at defenders, we don’t do that enough for me. Two brilliant goals, 3 brilliant points, just praying we can keep these players fit.

Interesting that BBM went with both Baah and then Tavares before Pyke today! Andrew was also preferred to Alby but I'm guessing that was more to do with defensive duties.

Accy on 17:37 - Jan 1 with 2423 views | 442Dale | Ryan and Rathbone both played very well and Baah is the sort of outlet Pyke should have been but isn’t. Proof yet again what an average league this is and as long as you can go out, play a bit of positive, direct football, you’ll do enough to get results. You can see why Accrington have done ok recently as they get the ball into positions that result in shots. It’s not a complicated game. Did their no.5 Sykes really win MotM? For the second season running he was really poor!

Possibly giving Alby a breather after playing a lot of minutes (for his age) recently I'd like to see Baah & Tavares rotated alongside Hendo, without burning either of them out And if Ryan is coming into form, just play him ahead of the defence to leave Rathbone/Camps/Dooley to create ahead of him Suddenly we have a pretty decent starting X1 plus options

Someone put on twitter that's Morley going to Preston, has anyone else heard this rumour?

Felt Sorry for Calvin. He's never going to score for us again though

Accy on 18:57 - Jan 1 with 3378 views | Daley_Lama | The win should not gloss over an abjectly inept 2 minutes by the ref. A clear as day second yellow not given for an awful foul, that was bad enough. He then proceeded to coach John Coleman and advise him to take the lad off. He got the one key decision wrong. On the game, Accy shooting was poor, we rarely looked threatened which is a rarity this season. Hendo, Mcshane, Dooley, Rathbone etc - we have the semblance of a first time starting to show again.

Accy on 18:58 - Jan 1 with 3373 views | rochdaleriddler | Thought the defence played well, but no outball due to lack of movement, and Sanchez’s atrocious distribution. The ref was good apart from bottling the sending off. We seemed to grow in confidence as the game went on. A good win

Accy on 19:07 - Jan 1 with 3286 views | todmordendale | O’Connell, McShane and Ryan were superb today. A solid triangle that held and stopped everything. Ryan looks much fitter too and can see a game through although he went missing halfway through the second half to get his second wind. Baah could be a revelation. His twisting and turning while running at defenders leaves them in his wake. Camps better up front alongside Hendo. All in all a very good day. BBM take a bow.
