The ideological freaks that pass for a government have passed up on the offer to join with the EU to purchase ventilators faster and cheaper with the economics of scale. Apparently we want to make our own arrangements, which amounts to buying them from Dyson who've never made a single ventilator before now.
That will show Jonny Foreigner.

Obviously we have the situation under control. Nothing to see here.

The government have been very good in this crisis so far so I have no reason to think otherwise. People like you need to lose that chip on your shoulders.

Good to hear that you' ve gone back to where you come from. The good folk of Pembrokeshire don't need your sort, foreigners exploiting our scarce resources.

The QA in Portsmouth has run out of masks, what the hell is going on?

We are the 6th biggest economy in the world and we cant provide our health service workers with equipment or protective clothing.

Other countries are accepting help, Italy is accepting help from Cuba of all places. Cuba can actually send its medics around the world to help others whilst the UK is dragging staff out of retirement and using student nurses as cannon fodder against this disease.

I applauded our NHS staff tonight but feel ashamed of myself as well

I would honestly trust the government to do what's best for the country rather than rely on the EU , their record had not been very good so far.

I expect some would complain about its latest action.
