I am doing a spot of DIY around the house. There is not much to do though as I've kept it well maintained. I've been reading more online news/newspapers and I find the Times to be particularly good. I've just finished the Mortimer and Whitehouse book - Gone Fishing- . I would particularly recommend it to anyone wanting to get a youngster to give it a try because there is a very simple and well written chapter on setting up to start fishing.
Now there is so little sport there is not much to watch. Any recommendations for TV series or films? |  | | |  |

I am trying out some home exercises I have been reading about online. Also thinking to do some room re-arranging. I am also looking into how to cast from mobile/laptop to TV so I can watch TV that is better than crappy True Visions. Seems tough that one. I have had to download a VPN as most UK TV channels recognise I am on overseas IP address and will not let me into iPlayer and Channel 4 online. But the VPN seems to mean I cannot cast as it says it does not recognise the TV. The cast option disappears? Sadly I am not to tech savvy. [Post edited 25 Mar 2020 7:38]

I can cast youtube stuff, but cannot seem to cast BBC or CH4, and that seems to be because I needed this VPN thing. Likely I am doing something wrong as I am none so clever on Tech as I say. Casting means, what ever you watch on your phone or laptop can be watched on your TV so long as it is a smart TV I believe. | |

I doubt a copper would be bothered but a council enforcement officer might be. It is not illegal in itself, I believe, but you can be fined if you spill anything on the road. |  |

Do plenty of Gardening
Paint the bathroom and the small bedroom/office
Mend the fence - put it off previously for a month or so !!
Thoroughly clean the cars - inside and out
File and categorise my photos - prints and electronic
Shop for my parents
Volunteer to deliver food parcels to the aged, on behalf of a local store |  |

Works just rang to say I’m off until whenever. Getting paid 80% under the government thing. union have agreed to the deal, slightly worse off but on the flip side getting loads done around the house. Plus it means I can post on the UI 24/7 for weeks. | |
