Strange signing. Joined us a few minutes before the deadline closed - had a run-out at full back, started against Man Utd but got sent off. Did he ever manage to play at CB?

To be fair to him, he's still only 21 and the few games he played were in a pretty dis-functional Saints side.

He came on at half time against Leicester when we were 5-0 down and we only conceded 4-0 in the second half...but he was never able to repeat that early promise!...

I dont think he did that badly when he played, he only started 3 games in the league plus another 3 as sub, he started against Brighton at full back looked ok in a 2-0 win, Man Utd at home looked ok till sent off, Bournemouth at home was taken off at half time and never started another game in the Premier League, a little strange when others where just as bad at the time, came in against Man City in league cup and again was solid enough in a 3-1 defeat, against Huddersfield was ok in the cup.

Ralph clearly didn't fancy him as a player and so his face didn't fit
