Not seen it but read the review in The Guardian which said that the puppets were good but the scripts not so much and the problem with trying to parody the likes of Trump, Johnson etc is that they already are already parodies of themselves.

Why would he be? Its a program about currant affairs. Having said that I've not watched it because I've fond memories of the original and don't want them tarnished.
