JWP Free Kick Specialist on 14:41 - Nov 1 with 3202 views | I_would | Prowsey had a very good all round useful first half and two, perfectly placed, pacy free kicks. Long may it continue. Walcott makes a huge attacking difference to the team. One of the best first halves from Saints for absolutely years. [Post edited 1 Nov 2020 14:43]

JWP Free Kick Specialist on 14:53 - Nov 1 with 3177 views | dirk_doone | He is currently the finest free-kick taker in the country and must now be near the top of the list of all-time Premier League goal scorers from free-kicks. I used to have my doubts about him in his early days when commentators referred to him as a dead-ball specialist but there is no doubt now that he is the best there is. His all-round game is excellent too.

It’s been great to see how he has developed over the years. Even when some fans were slagging him off, successive managers saw something in him. He is now showing why they had faith in him and is a worthy captain.

Thank god, we got rid of that utter moron Hughes before he could sell JWP to Burnley! The guy is top class - on and off the field and his partnership with Romeu in the center is fantastic. Villa did not have a sniff today until Saints took their foot off the gas at 4-0 | | | | Login to get fewer ads
JWP Free Kick Specialist on 21:59 - Nov 1 with 2998 views | sfc1971 | If Ralph can instil some confidence and accuracy into JWP`s ability to have a pop with a moving ball in open play we would have a very very special player on our hands. Well done Prowsy and happy birthday!

If Southgate isn't as bad a manager as Hughes, Ward-Prowse can be the next Beckham for England: the king of set-pieces and an absolute legend. In fact, I expect him to exceed Beckham's all-time Premier League record of goals from free-kicks, overtaking Lampard, Zola, Ronaldo and Henry along the way. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54773207 [Post edited 1 Nov 2020 22:46]

After all, he is only just reaching his peak and has many more years of top flight football ahead of him.

Just 3 more needed now. At the rate he's going, he could even do that this season. He is the finest dead ball specialist since Beckham. [Post edited 29 Nov 2020 19:50]

Grealish to gain the free kicks, JWP to take them? I'm not sure I'd put my money on those two to be the England midfield though.

I think you may just be basing your figures solely on the Prem ? Don't forget cup games and the fact that league football existed before the Prem !! :-)
