Armstrong signs new deal to 2024. 13:24 - Jan 1 with 1315 viewsBison

More good news I hope , it's what Ralph was after and I don't think he will get worse like some we have given deals to in the past like Forster.

Trust no one in a circus.

Just want Danny now then

And I think the problem in the previous "batch" of new contracts (under Reed) was that they all seemed to be for about 5 or 6 years so the incentive for players to really carry on improving their worth and then hopefully get another one in say 2 - 3 years was gone

Great news. I like Armstrong. As mentioned; just need Ingsy to sign now in order that "they're all aboard the bus"... as one of our esteemed past managers was fond of saying.

To be fair - that was probably due to the sh1t service he was getting!

That and I think he was frustrated with his own performance.

He's definitely not 100% fit. I think that due to not having anyone on the bench even remotely near his class, we're asking him to play below par.

Perhaps he has noticed that the squad, tactics and approach to games has become 'stale' of late?

Fantastic news re: Armstrong and what a player he is. Very much in the Jack Cork and Steven Davis bracket for me.

HNY all

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

Good news indeed, hopefully with clause stating he starts ahead of Djenepo when fit

When S22 writes his employment contracts for 'the gang' he always insists mentioning other employees in the contract so that any ambiguity is removed. Tristram will always be first in line when he and Dom are deciding which bed they gets dabsies on when in the NYC penthouse.

The question i have here though is what language are the contracts written? Do we think S22 instructs his gimps to use the good old fashioned 'Queens' English, or the American / NYC variant? Perhaps it is largely dependent on what time zone the plane is in when his flunkies are knocking the contracts up?

I expect he was frustrated, he had a brilliantly worked goal ruled out.

Thanks for that link Butty. Interesting read re Monday's game, guess what, Lawrenson and Owen hoing for a totally unbiased Liverpool win as they've drawn their last couple of games. Haven't we also and have an incentive?
Look at the league table and points tally with the number of clubs on 26 points! Still very tight there
