| Kane wants out on 22:16 - May 17 with 1274 views | kingslandstand1 | Course they will which has been a worry for a while, but according to Alex Crook he will only go to Manchester Finish the next 2 games well and hopeully a few promises from the board and he'll at least see his contract out and with a good start to next season as this one and he'll then sign a new one??? | |

If they are selling Kane for 120 mill then let’s be getting 50mil for Ings. They will be desperate. Anylesx and he can see his contact out .

With one year left on his contract, given his age and injury problems, there is no chance that Saints will get 50m for Ings, especially from Spurs who are totally skint. Sky seem to be loving this story though. Kane being linked to half of the greedy ESL clubs has all of a sudden sparked a bit of interest into a season petering out to the battle for 9th place.
| Kane wants out on 09:13 - May 18 with 987 views | Sadoldgit | If Danny Ings wants to leave for Champions League football there is no point in him going to Spurs any time soon. Uncertainty about the next manager who will also have a large rebuilding job to do on the squad and with the hindrance of Levy holding the purse strings must raise question marks over their immediate future. If I were him I wouldn’t touch Spurs with a barge pole. | | | |

If Spurs get £120 mill for Kane it inflates the market. Anything less and its not worth selling Ings as we wont be able to replace him. You may as well take the chance and let him run his contract down. Watkins was a championship striker last season and cost 35mill.

| Kane wants out on 09:50 - May 18 with 938 views | DorsetIan | The Ings situation is going to depend entirely on whether someone with serious money and a serious intent comes in for him. If they do, the temptation for him and, if he is still here, the temptation for Gao might be irresistible. I sort of feel as thought Saints are sitting ducks for this sort of move at the moment. | |

I don’t think clubs will be splashing £120M on any player at present. Be interesting to see what Kane goes for. As for keeping hold of Ings and letting his contract run down, we’ve tried keeping hold of players previously that wished to moved on. It didn’t work out too well for us. If he really wants to go, sell him. How motivated will any player be who wants to be elsewhere?

Got to be right. Try as hard as we can to keep him. Make him an offer that reflects how important he is to the team. But if he can't be persuaded get as much for him as we possibly can.

Watkins was a young up and coming championship plays last season. He will be worth a lot more now. If Ings went for big money, what would be his sell on value. That’s the kind of daft thing that Everton have done over the past few years, especially under Koeman and Allardyce. Paying top whack for players in their late twenties on big wages with no resale value. In the current climate there won’t be that kind of money to throw about.
