I have mixed feelings when Little Pompey get knocked out of the League Cup because although I don't want to see them winning games, I want us to play them in the cup and beat them again. Their fans probably also have mixed feelings about it, except for them it's a sense of relief that they won't have to face us. |  |

Though managers and clubs rarely admit it when they do it, I suspect they are placing all their emphasis on promotion this year. I suspect they will do the same for the FA Cup unless they are so far behind the chasing promotion pack at that stage when the competition commences. But, I expect them to be up there as promotion contenders. | | | |
