You are right about Brighton, they like us are a club who are about the present and the future and not the past, in terms of League position Eastleigh are nearer to you in terms of the club you are today than we are.
In all seriousness their stadium is more similar to Fratton Park than ours in terms of capacity etc and you can wave at it and froth at the mouth from the M27 when you are on your way to the likes of Crew, Accrington & Oxford
Just looked at the tables, and Eastleigh are in 104th position, with Pompey in 47th place, a difference of 57 positions.
Your club are in 13th place, so that's 44 positions above us. You're not very good at basic facts are you Nick?

If Portsmouth were a comedian they would be Michael McIntyre , I don't really like him and would never pay to watch him but he does make me laugh sometimes.
If Southampton were a comedian, they would be Benny Hill. ie a bit worzely, delusions of grandeur on the massiveness of their comedic talent, and with their biggest ever days back in the seventies. The milk round song was of course quite funny, but again, a practice that takes the older people back to a forgotten time, where most of the youngsters wouldn't even understand what a milk round is

Pompey listed as circa 20,600 with Eastleigh at circa 5,200 ie a 15,400 difference.
So, taking the 15,400 number, and adding it to FP, we get 36,000.
Is your stadium anywhere near 36k? Take your time on this one.
So, as described, Pompey have certainly won more of their games than your team in the top flight. I think it’s around a 2.5% winning ratio. That is quite a big gap in terms of sheer quality.
Congratulations on having one of your players score over 150 goals in the top league for your club, we of course have more than one, and they both banged in more goals.

Your team have just been a small fish in the big pond for a while, only ever being a serious club once in your history. Pompey have been a top 4 club on five occasions.

And so if your talking about players from after the war, well that can’t really count seeing that there was no top devision for most of that time for the whole of England as they were each in sections (aka south, central and north) and even then it was like 100 years ago before football was even that big (hence why everyone when talking about stats and such, always say post war as that’s when it all became big) as if we’re looking back then, then I’m sure players scored like 8 goals in 1 game 🙄

And yeah your right you have outshon us for the last like century, but if we just look at that’d that time (like 50 years) you’ve got both teams with an FA Cup, but then you’ve got one being in the lower leagues for basically the whole time, with the other in the top devision for almost the whole time, you’ve then got one team going to major competitions at Wembley loss, and the other going a few times, as well as one having LOADS of amazing, world class players (Van Dijk, Shearer, Le Tiss, Bale, Mane etc) with the other having like 1 or 2 decent players… I mean I know you skates just love to look at the past as your top scared at looking to the future but it’s Ben you know that we’re easily bigger than you now, as yeah before the 1960’s you were certainly the bigger the am, but from the 1960’s/70’s onwards it was easily us and it ain’t up for debate on whether football was bigger from before the 60’s or after we the 70’s!
Oh and P.S actually we’ve been to the new Wembley more seeing that you’ve been there 5 times (although it should only be 3 times seeing that the others a contest that we’re not even properly in) but us saints have been their 7 times 😬 (as we’ve made 2 FA cup semi finals, a carabao cup final, an EFL cup final as well as playing spurs their three times!) so nice try, but as per usual the saints turn out on top

It’s sure can’t be as embarrassing as supporting a shite team like skatesmouth! So why is it you didn’t answer my question of why your soo sad and pathetic that you’ve gotta come to our fan page to annoy us? As I personally think your just fed up of watching the same old shit league 1 team I wanna see how decent fans to a decent PL team are, but still how is it you don’t have time to read it all yet you’ve proven you have by writing a reply to basically everything I said? Even then I really don’t get/know what you skates would be wasting your time away with anyway with how meaningless it is
Ok well you’ve already made one mistake or such as that stat is from back when English football didn’t have just one top devision and had different ones for different areas, so that’s already 1-0 (and even then percentage is irrelevant seeing that some teams could have a higher win percentage than the likes of Everton (who have never been relegated) but only have that because of how little they’ve been in the top devision whilst the other teams been in their lots (which sounds very similar to our scenario right now, although we do have a higher win percentage!) so needed more wins, so have to keep to it every season, whilst the other team could have just two decent seasons then just get relegated but have a decent win percentage).
Ok so how have you been to Wembley 7 times? As I’ve checked and I can only find you going there 6, seeing that you’ve never had a playoff game there and have only made Wembley for the FA cup and EFL trophy, and even if it is 7, originally you said you’d been there more so I guess that’s 2-0.
Ok so both us and brig HTF on have sold one of our best players this season (White and Ings) get I know for a fact that Southampton have bought in replacement, Brighton though I don’t know about as I’m not a seagulls fan. But ether way we finished above them last season and have been in the prem probably like 5/6 times the amount they have, so please explain how this works then? So that’s 3-0
Ok and the league, well like I’ve already said you were decent when football wasn’t that big and wasn’t well known or such, but league wise well within the last 50 years the highest you’ve finished is 8th, which we’ve finished above countless times since! So what’s that… oh well what a surprise 4-0! Might remind you of a certain night that!
Still the fact that your still going on about things that are that old that I doubt many (if any at all) of your players or fans that saw it happen are still alive, just proves that you always have to look back into the past as whenever you look at the present or future you just see a shit road for you, whilst us saints fans sure don’t see an amazing one like Leicester or Man City, but it’s still pretty decent and is like 10X better than yours! I mean what are you gonna do when it’s been over 100 years?
