I doubt it. I didn't realise he was that old, he's been a kid for years it seems. I reckon his agent is after one last 3-4 year contract an that's all this is. I would love Saints to do it as he is decent, but you know this has Everton / West Ham / Newcastle type of signing written all over it. |  |

Everton are skint (in FFP land) so he won’t be signing for them anytime soon. Decent player to be fair and was great for West Ham last year, I’m not sure if he can do it consistently though to justify the wedge. Possibly the kind of player Everton have gone for previously, big wages/no resale value, that’s put them in this FFP position in the first place. |  | | |
