I cannot see many making the effort to go to this.
I was thinking though yesterday when they decided not to have replays in rounds 3 and 4 (I know they did this last year) how diluted the FA Cup competition has become. Being in my 60's now I recall how much we would all look forward to this competition, finding out who you have and you kept replaying until there was a winner. No complaints about too many games or tiredness etc and the pitches and weather was often sh*t.
I get the impression that underlying amongst the elite PL clubs there is a desire to bring domestic cup competitions to an end by stealth. Many managers at the elite clubs have little interest and go through the motions until they get to the semi or final. Even lower down in the PL and clubs challenging for promotion to the PL would rather be knocked out. | | | |

Totally agree with A1079.
The FA Cup has become a distraction for the big clubs and needs a huge shake up.
I'd suggest exempting any club still playing in a European competition after say mid December from the competition.
That would allow them to continue their European journey and give the other clubs a chance. | | | |
