Back from the game. What a surprisngly comfortable victory that was. We're so good at the moment that even our reserves can beat a top four first team!. Let's hope we get a home draw in the quarter-finals because we are unbeatable at St Mary's.
All of the pundits have been talking up Declan Rice lately but Ward-Prowse showed him who's the boss tonight.

My Apologies , back to the football , was a great night the crowd really got behind the team , not sure about the pitch invasion mid game , added 7 minutes to injury time. The tw@ts expected a heros welcome being led off but got the full deekhead treatment , one started to try and get punchy with the crowd. |  |

Good to see Saints are getting right up the noses of bigger clubs for supposed shithouse tactics. I love the slightly unpleasant streak we have now. For too long the “Southampton way” was too nice. Now we give some of these clubs their own medicine we’ve taken down the years and they don’t like it.

we were all aghast at the initial team selection and I for one though that we were gonna get a good thumping, but fair play to the lads who apart from Djenepo and Diallo played their part in going in 1-0 at HT. To be fair we rode our luck a bit but that is sometimes what we have not hands in the past. Once RH brought on the big guns there was only going to be one winner.
