I think AM should start. The vote just reflects people's feeling that it should be anyone but McCarthy.
It's a big step up for Bazanu to go straight into the PL and if he has a few dodgy games then those same fans calling for him, will be the first to write him off as shite and destroy his confidence.

Without first seeing what our new goalkeepers are like at this level it is difficult to comment and vote. The feeling is probably one of anyone has to be better than McCarthy but that is not necessarily the case so I suspect we will start with McCarthy until he has a bad game - which probably won't be too long, which is slightly unfair on the guy himself.

But, as we know it is not just a goalkeeping issue - we can have the best goalkeeper in the world but they still need a good defence and vice versa and it would be nigh on crass stupidity if we go into another season without the sort of experienced and confident defender that we have been so sorely missing for a number of seasons now.
