i think i could be alone here, but i'm going for a 1-0 win.

brave or stupid, i reckon mr beale will do his homework, tighten up the defence, and we will nick it.

Sunderland are going to ask the FA to have a look at the throat grab. May well be a retrospective red for violent conduct.

And what does that achieve for Sunderland? Chair may miss 3 games (none of which will be against Sunderland)

As usual the criticism of Chair is unfair and generally myopic. Held to a higher standard than anyone in the team for some reason. Even last sat, almost scored from halfway, started the move for willock goal then took defenders away to allow him to drive for the first; assisted the second, almost got a fourth due to tireless running. Verdict: below par.
Laughable.

I really liked his first twenty minutes. I'm not advocating a move to midfield for him, but I thought he brought pace to our passing in there, and could see some potential for that to happen at some stage, maybe even for spells during a match.

Just sour grapes by Neil to deflect away from a poor second half on their part. Ref saw the situation and didn’t do anything so nothing to see there. Was disappointed with Chair at that moment though as he should have taken the opportunity to butt him instead.

Agree totally.

He is generally available too, which, in this squad is a bit of a rarity...

Can we go out yet?

We can put a few concerns that were raised in pre season to bed:

Won’t score goals ✅
Chair is overrated / poor form ✅

and more recently…

Team is full of skivers ✅

I was definitely concerned about that on Tuesday.
Not today, though.

I don't think it's unfair to say he had a pretty poor game up until the last 10 minutes (even Beale said similar in his post match comments). He clearly doesn't rate Nikko as he almost never passed to him when he was open. Chose harder passes which often failed to reach whoever he was aiming for. That being said, he never hides, obviously loves the club and as others have just pointed outbhas just had a new baby which is a massive change in anyones life. I'm looking forward to seeing him when we've got all our best players back fit to play alongside him.

An unhappy Alex Neil is a beautiful thing.

In that case I suggest you listen to his post-match interview. Not a happy bunny!

Perhaps they could have a look at that "offside" from last season too while they're at it.

If that incident is reviewed, they'll notice Gooch goading him "what you gonna do? what you gonna do eh" while laughing in Chair's face.

Hope a few players had a good laugh back in his mush at full time.

He might still if it gets reviewed.

Surely it's similar to Charlie's kick out at Hall at Middlesbrough last season? If the referee has seen it and taken no action then it can't be retrospectively reviewed can it?

2-0 down , 2-2 draw, not bad, feared a hammering but kept at it and got a point. nice.

QPR score from a FK.
QPR's keeper scores.
QPR score two goals in the last few minutes to snatch a point.
Just been outside and someone's left a pile of rocking horse shit on the drive.

What are the odds of all that?

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

This is a good point. Does Jack Supple use this forum?

A) When did QPR last score via direct free kick
B) When did QPR last score via goalkeeper

4 points from our first 3 games is very good concidering the opposition. If all goes to plan we could have 10 by the end of the week!

Sunderland's Alex Neil: "I might be pleased in the morning. I am not pleased at the moment. I am hoping one of our heads land on the ball. The only way to fix that is to get my goalkeeper to mark their goalkeeper, it's numbers. It's 10 versus 11. We just didn't get our head on the game and if we do, we win the game. I have not been done by a goalkeeper before. Even then Ross has a chance with his left foot, the keeper makes a good save, Elliot hits the underside of the bar. When your luck is not in your luck is not in.

"We deserved to win the game. We played well first half, I thought we defended pretty well second half. I could see the game petering out. The problem we have is two transitions led to two chances, and they both ended up in the back of net. We will see thousands of games like that this season where we will end up winning the game. Not today."

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Will keep looking, but I think he comes across well here. Also very open on tactics, which is a breath of fresh air.
