They recently did an interview with Adam Armstrong and Che Adams and asked who the slowest player in the Saints' squad was. I think we already knew the answer to that. In an era when pace is so important, such a slow player is a luxury England can ill afford, especially as his corners and free-kicks have been so poor this season. |  |

Didn’t say he was in decent form compared to your average player, but simply compared to the ones I named, as a few goals and assists with like 15 games sure is a decent record compared to like 0 to 5 games for some of those player with like just 1 goal or assist | |

Ok but we were talking about form and not who they play for but they’re form and almost all those who I named, have had appalling form recently.
As Grealish has been poor this season for City (8 gamers 1 goal)
Maguire had been dreadful for Man U, hence why he’d not played in ages (with just 4 games and 0 clean sheets, goals or assists)
Gallagher has been rubbish this season compared to how he was at Palace (with 12 games with 1 goal and 1 assist)
Phillips hasn’t even played a combined total of 90 minutes yet this season! So clearly ain’t in form whatsoever)
And Rashford hasn’t exactly been dreadful but he’s hardly been shining ether (14 games 4 goals, and 2 assists)
And when you compare that to Prowse’s stats (15 games with 2 goals and 2 assists), it’s only really Rashford who has really been any better.
And I never said that Maguire shouldn’t be in the team, it’s just that he certainly wasn’t picked in form just like the rest of them. As I originally didn’t think Prowse should be in that team, but after some of the players that were named in the squad, he certainly should have been.
As you don’t end up picking Gallagher, Grealish and Phillips over Toney, Prowse and Bowen if it’s based purely on form! As yeah those 3 might not be shining as well as they were last season, but at least they’re actually playing and still doing ok, whilst the 3 he did pick aren’t playing and aren’t doing well, hence why that squads not been picked on form like some of the other squads have been (hence how Bella Kotchup made the German squad). | |

No they don’t include cup or Europeans games as that’s something that not all the players play in, and even then I did say that outta all the players he has been the one player to have had some slight form.
And I was mainly comparing Prowse to Gallagher and Phillips, as all the rest that I was naming was simply down to showing that Southgate didn’t pick his team based on form whatsoever (which I did also say in my last comment).
As if your seriously saying that a player that’s not even played a combined total of 90 minutes this season, along with a player that’s just been soo poor compared to how he was last season, are in good form, then I guess Prowse must be a Ballon d’or contender this season!
