Especially in London. They have no regard for anyone else - I’ve had verbals with a few and they look shocked that anyone should have the cheek to challenge them. How sweaty must they be when they get to work? Sweaty, rancid and self righteous. Freeloading cvnts.

| Top 3 pet hates on 15:37 - Jul 3 by Heisenberg | I cycle loads as it’s often quicker to get around and keeps me reasonably fit for a bloke in his 60s. No lycra and I stop at traffic lights. I would say 95 per cent of motorists are fine and give space when overtaking although some are impatient twots who can’t wait for a few minutes. The biggest danger though is pot holes. I spend half my time keeping an eye out for ones like a small crater which will cause me to come off. If you drove over them your car would be damaged. The roads in this country are in a mess. Like everything else. |
Yes. You probably took part in something called the 'Cycling Proficiency Test' which taught awareness and respect to other road users, how to indicate your direction etc. I saw one such character at the notorious Park Gate roundabout last week. No lycra, no nose on the handlebars - just observed the road, kept to the left and indicated his intended direction. Not a whiff of arrogance or aggression. Breath of fresh air.

Should cyclists pay a Road Tax of some sort to help contribute to the cost of potholes? We seem to be spending a fortune in building cycle lanes in a lot of roads in the Bournemouth / Poole area, which perversely is bad for the environment as it creates more traffic jams. We are not Holland when it comes to being a country of cycling fanatics, and I can't see we ever will be.
