Then Chair and Willock got going and they were the main instigators in turning the game our way. Also impressed with Dozzell and (sometimes) Richards.
Last five or ten we fell asleep again.
Overall, Field our best player again, pace far too slow, we'll get killed by better opposition if we play at this pace and if we treat the ball with the hatred we did in the first fifteen. Some encouraging signs thereafter, though. | |

Decent first half and top four of Richards Willock and Chair behind Dykes could be decent if all on top of their game and certainly encouraging signs of that.
Dozzell and Field for me both done their jobs. Pleased with Dozzell so far.
Paal good in attack but bit jittery in defence, Kaaky been caught out and too early to assess Dunne and Gubbins. Begovic I feel will be decent.
Am pleasantly surprised and we performed way above what I was initially suspecting and with some style also.

Enjoyed that half. Slow start with Wimbledon on the front foot with some nice, quick passing and a few half chances but we stayed solid and grew into the game nicely. Asmir calmly dealt with some good crosses and made one good save from a decent chance. Dykes took his chance very well from a short back pass. Field was his usual busy self, Dozzell alongside him - still not convinced, played some nice short passes but really doesn't impose himself on the game like he should. Richards in the middle reminded me at times of someone now plying his trade at Selhurst Park, the way he just glides past players. Willock and Chair some lovely triangles. Looking forward to the second hald. | | | |
