Russel Martin has to be given time, it’s only fair. Till the November international break. If it works then ok, if not it further shows how much Sports Republic have well and truly fûcked Southampton Football Club up.
We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong.

Potter may not be available then, bae.
Another two months of this, and our crowds will be below 20,000.

Potter will bide his time until a decent Premier League appointment becomes available. Why would he come to SFC? Everton and Wolves will be sniffing around him very soon.

Well, that's one way of looking at it but from such a low baseline, he could look good in a very short space of time. A proven manager with some ability won't solve the problems but it will allow them to be solved.
There is no way Potter will come to Saints. By all accounts he has turned down Lyon and is waiting for a Premier League club. I can’t stand the man but we need an old school manager to get back to basics and knows the league. Neil Warnock type or Tony Mowbray to get rid of the RM nonsense.

Unfortunately this is all meaningless because the board aren't going to sack Martin unless we are in the relegation zone come 2024. How can they sack Martin and the likes of Ankersen and Wilcox not have to resign themselves? It ain't going to happen.
All very sad because RM is turning out as expected. I did say we'd start bad and end up mediocre but this is worse than I thought.

It must have been well below 20k with 10 mins to go last night!!!
How many actually stayed til the end. No doubt some will say that true loyal supporters will do, but we've got to get a message to the board somehow that they have basically fkd this club up and need to admit it and do something about it
You seriously think he’d join us!? As yeah I’d love to have him, but I’d also love to hav Haaland, Dias, Saka, Mbappe etc… and we sure aren’t getting any of them just the same as we sure aren’t getting potter whilst in the championship!
Darren Moore is a more realistic target and he has a better career win rate in both the Premier League and Championship than Potter.

No one of quality would come here as the firm is completely in the sh*t. Also Potter would want £4m plus and Saints are not going to pay 4 managers every month.
If we look like being relegated after Xmas then SR will reluctantly change him as it won't fit in with their plans to be a mid table Championship side and supply possession practiced academy players to Man City and the like.

I see "Joggy" Ward-Prowse scored a good header to put West Ham ahead at half time against Man City.
Useless slow backwards joggy tw@t etc etc...

LMAO.
Potter turned down Rangers this week, and you think he might rock up to the Championship
If you had read through the thread you would see no one seriously thinks Potter will come to us. More chance of getting Harry Potter. I honestly have no idea who manages your lot.

If you had a read the thread title, you will see the question
"Should we try and get Graham Potter in? "
Maybe my response was to this question. And BTW - I genuinely have no idea who runs your club.
But a little while ago, many wanted eddie howe, now some are asking about potter. All rather strange.

'Outright Liar'? Nope
Asking about Potter is hilarious though. Its sooooooo funny
Graham Potter has more connection to Southampton FC than that hapless waste of space Mason Mount (definitely in Ward-Prowse’s shadow, it would seem…) has to the small island club.

An hilarious thread.
PfP asks a very silly question. Nobody agrees with him, and then he randomly accuses people of being liars.
Its all getting a bit emotional down one end of the M27
