He's still a above Ronald for his allround game.

I didn’t see today’s game but apparently he had a good shot and put over a couple of decent corners.
That’s an improvement.
Ronald hasn’t improved but he does do an awful lot of Keys defensive work.
We are weak all over the park, we get pushed off the ball too easily. Lightweight.
It’s shown up in bright lights how much we are missing O’Brien and Darling.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Eom has been better than most when he plays. Very aware on the ball, scores the odd goal and links well in attack. I would rather him than Cullen or Benson.

He might be better than those two, but are any of the three promotion chasing players? Not in my opinion.

I only saw on the tele, been busy today with one thing and another, sat down for 5 mins after lunch and her in doors was on my case, cause I made a list for today and I was short of three of the tasks, managed to get two done and missed 10 mins of the game, I've carried one task over until later today.

Forest were bottom of the league around this time in their promotion season.

I’m trying hard to stay sane 😂

I like your optimism 😂. Even we beat them in the cup 5-1 during that period as well I think.
Heady days lol

If the club are looking to bring in more high profile investments, theb having a rookie manager who has the team 18th is a very hard sell. Even for the existing investors, questions must be being asked.
Bringing in an experienced manager with a track record of winning things is the sort of opportunity investors get interested by.
If they are serious about the club, which they appear to be, then Sheehan will be gone very soon and a bit of money will be spent on the replacement

Imo that's exactly whats needed right now, and experienced manager at this level who can steady the ship, too long now we've wasted the PL legacy. How much have we spent on paying off managers contracts , money better spent on players

Tony Mowbray is an "experienced manager at this level with a track record of success" and he got sacked from his last job in a matter of months. There are absolutely no guarantees from any appointment, no matter how many people glibly throw the phrase around.

Every change of manager is a throw of the dice.

there is clearely something wrong behind the scenes , how can we perform well against citeh and charlton and to be fair Preston then a very very poor performance vs ipswich, and in my opinion they were FAR better than us even in the 2nd half, they have a chap in charge who has taken them to the prem, bought guys in wisely and i think they wont be far from the top again this season, whilst listening to bbc wales on the way home it was said perhaps rather than dispencing with his service the owners should concider an older head with more experiance along side him, but they could not understand the way the swans were set up yesterday,
the owners have big decisions to make stick or twist but clearly something has to happen or we could be drawn into a fight at the bottom
The finacial fair play rules will in my opinion have a big bearing on those decisions

Correct.

It's always a gamble but it's fair to say that an experienced bloke who's done it all before has a far better chance of doing well than someone who hasn't done it before.

I agree that nothing is guaranteed but this current throw of the dice isn't working either and personally I was hoping it would but what else can be done , the players seem to be still playing for him but for some reason it's not enough.I'm really not bothered about promotion just as long as we compete and the dreaded word be entertained, neither of the two is currently happening.

With a 2 week international break, now is the time to remove Sheehan.
Take these two weeks to bring in someone and get them in place for the Xmas games and the January window.
Move quickly and see if they can speak to Heitinga

Carrick has done nothing to deserve be in the mix if Sheehan goes. How he’s an upgrade on Sheehan is a mystery to me. Another relatively inexperienced manager with no notable success. Someone with a profile and body of work like Paul Heckingbottom or Alex Neil is what we need. Experienced, managed in the PL is a bonus. Knowing the championship inside out as a manager is an essential requirement. Anything else is just repeating failed mistakes. It’s a route we haven’t really been down, appointing an experienced championship manager.

I know I’ve basically described Colin, but I’m going to add a few caveats. One of which is it can’t be Colin.

I think it needs to be done and soon.

But, this international break isn’t the blessing it looks like. Most of our non-English players will be away now until just before the Bristol City game.

Putting anything other than a caretaker in would set the new man up for a very difficult start. We’ll have to have someone who knows the players taking the team for that one, even if it’s only that game.

If they don't do it by Wednesday then it's a wasted opportunity and they'll be sticking with him for a few more months.

Watching him walk from the dugout after the game on Saturday and the reaction of the remaining crowd I think most people knew, including Alan Sheehan, that the inevitable was coming.
I wish him well wherever his career takes him.

Genuine guy.
Did a good job as interim manager. X2
Promoted above his competence.
Thanks for everything Alan.
