Gerrard would be good. Top ex player, who has worked under some world class managers. Won the title at Rangers as a manager.
Carrick would be ok, he has championship experience.
Mark Robins would be good, but would require compensation.
Rodgers is an option.

Despite the scouse accent, I actually think he would be a great appointment. Experienced man, who has won the biggest titles in the game as a player and a manager. Instantly respected and he has something to prove. He certainly would attract decent players, but he is doesn't see in the running at the moment accord8ng to the bookies. |  |
