| Worst team in the Prem 15:11 - Nov 25 with 1721 views | kingslandstand1 | Just thought I'd look at where we were this time last year and that illustrious position and record we were going for (and vey nearly got!), and I see we actually had 4 points after 12 games. I see Wolves only have 2 now whereas Derby had 6! Will Wolves take that mantle? I'm not so sure, they have a fairly experienced manager now (?) who is acutely aware of the problems ahead of him! | |

| Worst team in the Prem on 15:24 - Nov 25 with 1697 views | solent_toffee | Wolves are doomed, I reckon. Years of selling their best players and bringing in rubbish ones has left them with a very poor squad that’s barely got any PL experience bar a couple of players plus they have an inexperienced manager. I think it will be much closer for the other two places than in previous years. Burnley don’t concede many but don’t score a lot, Sunderland have done a Forest and brought in almost a new team. Leeds look the weaker of the promoted teams. I can see Sunderland staying up with Burnley, Leeds going down and Wolves smashing Saints record! | | | |

They were at their best when they were the Portuguese all-stars, but then other clubs cottoned on to the value of Portuguese players and managers. I still think they were wrong to sell Jiménez to Fulham, when he was coming back after fracturing his skull. Now Fulham are benefitting from his goals.

They had the same problem as us, a Chinese owner who suddenly couldnt invest, they managed to hand on a few more years than us but cant see them getting out of it now

Pretty much agree with all this apart from the last sentence. What record?

Didn’t you break some records last season, fewest wins in a season? I remember the celebrations at leveling Derby’s points tally mind.

You must be enjoying being ahead of the RS in the table and having such a decent new ground to play at. I was up in Liverpool last week and had a wander around the outside of the Bramley Moore Stadium. Very impressive and apparently the acoustics are great.

It’s a fantastic stadium, absolutely love it. Every match day is a big event, linked so closely to town. The bars near the ground are starting to feel like home too now. Hopefully Saints will play there next season. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
