| Vipotnik 00:18 - Dec 19 with 3348 views | KeithHaynes | Been chatting to someone this evening. Stated that West Ham may well be interested but the club have no knowledge or contact to say how much. Looks like the initial interest may be right ish. but no dialogue at all atm. It’s all conjecture but the belief is the Swans wouldn’t take less than 8M, but we know how these things can start with a million here then there with add ons, payments throughout the length of contract etc. some add ons that any club buying would want I don’t think Vipotnik would get close to. Not sure he’s a PL player tbh. | |

| Vipotnik on 06:59 - Dec 19 with 1866 views | Whiterockin | Vipotnik is vastly improved on last season, but I think he blows hot and cold and is very inconsistent. Any fee would need to be front loaded and not added, because as you say add ons are unlikely to be achieved, particularly with West Ham. I also doubt he is a Premier League player or even a top championship striker. | | | |
| Vipotnik on 07:25 - Dec 19 with 1844 views | Dr_Winston | Vipotnik is capable of creating something out of nothing. Not in a "flash of skill to get past a defender way", but in a "be careful of him anywhere near 25 yards out because one false move and he'll fire in a Thunderbastard" way. That will attract interest from other clubs. Like Keith I'm not sure he's ultimately Prem quality, but for £10m a few outfits at that level may be prepared to take the gamble. Not sure we'd be tempted for anything lower than that considering his age and contract status. I think he's clearly one of the better strikers in the division and had he been playing for Coventry this season would probably have even more goals than he does for us. [Post edited 19 Dec 7:26]

Two goals tonight would lift his profile.

Would be nice. Think we're making steps in the right direction but Inoussa and Widell both have to start for me. Ronnie needs a stint on the bench.

| Vipotnik on 07:56 - Dec 19 with 1805 views | jack247 | We can’t afford to do this without another goal source. I’d have let him go for peanuts in the summer but he’s improved so much and we’ve only now started creating consistent chances for him. Under Sheehan he was living off long range/tight angle thunderbolts that weren’t really chances. At Stoke last week alone he got put through three times. If the team keep making clear chances, he’ll do even better in the second half of the season and his value will obviously increase. | | | |

| Vipotnik on 09:33 - Dec 19 with 1658 views | swan65split | He is valuable in his place /level, I think anywhere above this league, he would just be a sqaud player, but then again from his viewpoint its£££££s | | | |

We are down if he goes Idah isn’t the answer Wales , we have no idea about We would have to actually pay for a full on , proven goal scorer We do not HAVE to sell him If we do , more fans will walk away New owners more ambitious I read West Ham will be relegated Why not simply say he ain’t for sale

Are you sure now? You spent most of last season slagging him off.

Won’t happen for any Swans player unless the money is crazy.

It would have to be crazy money Even average championship players now cost a fortune Let’s hope Vitor knows some diamonds in the rough for us to bring in January

With a steady supply line of crosses and opportunities he will score . The problem is the supply has been poor , overhit , too slow inaccurate . He needs better service and that is down to the midfielders/wingers who need to up their game. West Brom have started to score again because they have a natural goalscorer brought in from Norway Aune Hegabo They have moved Grant out wide who has pace and have Johnson on the other .He is getting a good steady supply and putting chances away. If they can stop concediing goals at the other end they will shoot up the table.Thats what we need improve the supply line and Tighten up the defence especially right hand side

morning Keith I just wish I shared your optimism. It depends on what they perceive as crazy personally, with the right team and coaching,Zan is a real force to be He could easily be a PL footballer . As good as Piroe ,for me. Both feeding off scraps. Galbraith another diamond we need to nurture

And yet again we seem to just starting to build when the big boys come a knocking .I agree with the comments regarding whether he is PL quality but he is C/Ship for sure so if he goes then let it be the PL because we are atm a long ways off getting there ourselves.

| Vipotnik on 11:27 - Dec 19 with 1494 views | Landore_Jack | Replacing him in January will be tough. If West Ham come in with a big offer I doubt the club will stand in his way. With the right coaching he can only get better. He does go missing sometimes in games but we need to give him better service. | |

Other clubs sell their players for more than we do , and we seem to pay more to get players in About time we changed and started demanding top money and not getting tucked

With the assets brought in such as Galbraith, Inoussa, Widell, Burgess and Stamenic it’s far more exciting than we’ve had for years.
