Not sure what more he could do, the fella was left unmarked to pick his spot for the first goal and the second goal the player was right through and lashed the ball past him from close range.
I would be more concerned why there was no one on the edge of the box to pick up loose balls for the first goal and how just a big hoof left their man right through on goal, than whether the keeper should have done better |
Lashed? Ya right. The guy with the ball was a plodder. Close range? He was near the edge of the 18 yard box. The ball went through Bazunu practically in the centre of the goal. Don't get me started on the clownish way he let that header in tonight. | | | |
