Twice in the space of little more than a month, we let a team in the relegation zone show us up. Norwich must wish they could play us every week. I'm surprised their fans didn't sing that. It's a good job we haven't a cat in hell's chance of going up. If Norwich can do that to us, twice in one month, I shudder to think what far better sides in the Premiership would do to us, given half a chance.
You'll see what a Prem side will do to us next week š«£š

Absolutely pathetic from front to back today. We could play that game til Sunday and wouldn't have even looked like scoring a fxxxing goal. Like a bunch of hungover tossers who've never played football before.
Have to say based on the last 2 cameos Poku looks pony

Depends on what side we put out. West Ham will field mostly reserves, I'd say. Even though they're a championship side in all but name, they will still be desperate to cling on to their place at the bottom of the pile in the top tier. We'll see, anyway.

Echoes my thoughts. I think Rumarm and Kone should rotate, or Rumarm act as a RW. I can see Varane-Mads-Hayden as the Midfield. Poku and Kollli to get more time. I am a fan of Cook but he has a lost a step.

He actually played OK.
Glad to hear that. Just didn't hear him mentioned much after he came on. Then again, the ref and the pitch got more mentions than any of our players š
Iām pretty pragmatic about our results normally, but today made me very angry with the performance.
Unlike some, I donāt believe that this team doesnāt try or phones it in, in fact sitting in row 2 of the Stan Bowles you get a very close up look at whoās putting their bodies on the line. Mad Ben was into every tackle with usual disregard for anyoneās safety, Madsen sticking his head onto a Norwich defenders boot to win the ball, Jimmy going after every header..
BUT this was so far off against a very gettable Norwich side, who looked like they would just roll over in the first half if we stuck the ball in the net. In the second we made them look like Coventry.
We all know that if you are at QPR, thereās a reason - not quite good enough, not quite fit enough, not quite ready for this league BUT we have too many players losing form at a critical time - Saito, Burrel, Kone, Smyth, Varane not to mention Valeā¦
I donāt want to slate individuals, because, as I said, I see them giving everything, but right now, today was a massive miss and a real demonstration of the lack of depth we have to get through these mental schedules.
Sheffield Wednesday needs a BIG reactionā¦

I was at the game. There was no lack of effort from any player. There were poor and/or tired performances from some. There was also some good or reasonable performances from Hayden, Kolli, Nardi, Madsen, Mbengue and Kone. Smyth's pace is wasted when he has to cut in from the left and when he is trying to stop an opponent he needs to stop diving in and missing. Stay on his feet and keep with him. Burrell looks shattered, has lost his zip. Fatigue caught up with Jimmy and Norwich kept forcing him inside onto his left foot. ND also tired. Dembele tried hard but little came off. Poku ditto. Morgan caught a bit of whatever Vale had on Monday.š
I watched every minute of the game too and I have to say your definition of āeffortā is very different than mine. Today was a million miles from the Birmingham game never mind Leicester. Remember how they were busting a gut closing down every Brum player, winning possession high up the pitch and generally causing them all sorts of problems in the final third. Every time we attacked Birmingham I thought we might score, only Cook made me feel that way first half. Then it got worse instead of better! Where was the effort to prevent Norwich scoring in the first minute. What was RND doing, why did Jimmy lose his man? You talk about tiredness and lack of energy, like they all played twice in the one day. Like Norwich havenāt played for a month. Half this team was ārestedā against WBA. They are professional footballers and canāt run around and pass coherently against a team in the bottom three, just the same as they didnāt run around and pass the ball coherently at WBA a few days earlier. This is not a dig at you FB, but this āeffortā was well below an acceptable standard for the third game in a row and about the eight time this season in total.

Fair Francis. Hayden was much better than Varane. More aggression and had good legs to get around the pitch. Some great tackles as well.
We look absolutely knackered. Canāt expect to perform at any level when youāre playing on fumes.
The effort was there, the quality wasnāt.
Kolli deserves more mins, Kone, Saito and Burrell need an extended break.

I bet many supporters will feel that they can't be bothered to go on Sunday after the absolute load of sh*t served up. My cousin said he has much better things to do Sunday.

That was abysmal.
Feel bad you have to sit down and type up the match report its 2 if not 3 games in a row we were pathetic and got nothing when we dreamed of 7 or 5 points at least. Money is always tight at Christmas and 4 games in 12 games puts unecessary strain on fans finances the players should at least die on their shields out there .

Well for me, the worrying thing is the team that was selected to start was in my opinion about the best we had available and many on here would have been happy with it, I was but it failed on so many levels. Speed of thought, movement off the ball, decision making, passing of the ball, creating space for a return pass, none of these things happened and if this is the best we have, we may not be in trouble relegation wise but we look a long long way from a top 6 finish.

Norwich have 24 points and have taken 6 of those off us! Over Christmas weāve got 1 point from 9 against three really poor sides. Tinkerman needs a massive reaction v Sheffield Weds to stop the slideā¦.

Agree with this, but there were 7 changes from the previous game and the team never gelled.
I accept we need to freshen things up, but itās too many changes and straight down the spine of the team.
Having said that, the players individually were poor. Maybe one or two getting more than a five?
