I know some won't like this as it is from Bill Shankly, but I think they all hit the mark, some are only relevant if you are a liverpool fan, but some are relevant to everyone and some are prophetic and others are just funny or plain true.

Im sure there are some good quotes, but neither was a true man of the people as Shankly was, I guess that it is a sign of the times, football managers do not seem to have the personality factors anymore.
When Shankly & Mcmenemy or Matt Busby, Brian Clough etc spoke they had personality, today's managers are just dour.
Look at a list of our managers over the past 25 years few have had any real affinity for the club or had much to say.
Strachan was interesting, but you didnt really think he was a Saints man so to speak, just passing through
Ralph Hasenhuttl was one with personality and you felt affinity to the club.
Ronald Koeman was a personality but you knew he was just on another stop on his journey at St Mary's
Harry Redknapp obvious personality but he was not a Saints man in any way shape or form.
