New Years Day after the saints game 😔 sad news . I go there occasionally and also used to enjoy a pint there in the 80’s before a saints game or before going to a club like the Top Rank. End of an era.

Had a pint there Saturday. Not my first choice, but a decent place for a beer.

I think they must just be struggling due to finances. Sadly it doesn't help that their busiest times are probably before or after an event at the Guildhall (few and far between these days) and Saints playing (where fans now flock to the Noddy Zones instead which possibly doesn't help).

Used to like Belgium & Blues before a game but sadly that went as well.

Yes I read that football days were the main source of income but as someone said football isn’t played 7 days a week.

That was probably only northen pubs as apparently we're all wealthy down South with no issues
