We'll definitely finish in the top 8.
But if our away form doesn't pick up, we'll be nearer 8th than 2nd.

Next two away games, Norwich and West Ham. OK, knowing saints we will do better in both. But on paper that will be 6 games with no away wins and likely an average of less than half a point per game.

I'm going to play Devils Advocate here & say that I personally don't think we'll even make the play offs, with or without Tonda.
Our squad is just not strong enough this season.
We've lost players & not replaced them or replaced them with worse players.
Dobbin is worse than Archer (hard to believe I know)
Zach Abbot at this stage of his career is not a patch on THB.
We replaced Stewart with Mubama & a fit Stewart was superior to Mubama.
Albeit unsurprisingly Stewart hasn't played a league game this season due to another injury so perhaps we've lost nothing there.
We lost Shea Charles & replaced with JWP, good financial gain for the club & JWP will do a job in this lge, bur we lost a good young player with potential.
We still have Fellows & Edozie & neither are not physically able to shine in what is a brutal lge.
And YES I'll happily eat my words if we get into the play offs. |
We'll almost certainly make the play offs, but that's not the point really. Making the play offs is useless if you don't win - and that's going to be a struggle. At the moment I wouldn't rate our chances if any of our key players were injured or suspended at that time. Edozie on for Leo sums up where we are at the moment. |  | | |

Isn't there any way, referees can stop teams deliberately trying to injure Scienza? It's a tactic of every team we play now to start kicking him as soon as possible and continue doing it until he limps off the pitch. An early yellow card or two would help. |  |

Just where do we go from here ? Losing yesterdays ‘must win’ game has according to the very definition of ‘must win’ defined our season.
In all honesty I don’t think we have squad to make the top 2. Lose Larin and there is nothing up front. Wolves had Jimenez on the bench last week. We can, and should make the play offs but leaving us with one striker is a risky strategy. |
It wasn't a 'must win' game yesterday obviously, but on a day when both West Ham (15pts) & Middlesboro (15pts) only managed a draw each in their respective games, yesterday was a great (missed) opportunity to go to within 2 points of both of them & keep up the pressure/pace.
Coventry City showed last season how to reach the summit and stay there. We need to improve our away form, cut out the poor defending, and somehow try to maintain pressure on the two auto places. |  |

I agree with most of this but I think we will just about make play offs
But once again we have come up short at the back and we are leaking sloppy goals which as w know you just cannot do in any league | | | |
