What makes you think there’s any substance to the claims and comments these individuals on X have made? I highly doubt that they are privy to inside information. I’m pretty sure that if there was evidence to suggest they were going to bomb a US air base they wouldn’t be on bail, the police and security services would have 14 days to deal with the suspects and they’d investigate everything, no bail, do not pass go and straight to jail if they had anything. The police could hold the prisoners incommunicado, deny them legal advice for 48 hours etc etc. The police are taking a bit of a hammering on the decision to bail the subjects and I highly doubt they are putting themselves on offer and through this for no reason - I suspect if they’d had grounds to detain these people they would, - I think they’ve had no choice other than to release these people because they’ve done nothing related to terrorism. If it’s not a terrorist offence, a murder etc then the police may only have 24 hours to deal with the suspects. Anything else doesn’t make sense. I believe the police have received a report from the public, they’ve attended, aren’t happy with the facts and have taken positive action which is what they should always do. The investigation then kicks in while the suspects are in custody. The police don’t always get it right and lots of people have been arrested in the past and then been NFA’d or dealt with for a lower level offence when the investigation is completed. Let’s see what happens. [Post edited 28 Sep 23:28]

To be fair to WingStand the poster simply posted the link to Randy's post without comment.

He now will stop diesel fuel exports over The Pond allegedly , again another chaotic crisis at the fuel pumps looming for folks who need to drive to work daily . Added we cannot get our fuel from Saudi also , maybe even open up or North Sea options . Milliband will be aghast if that suggestion goes through .

Isn't the cause for concern that the suspects with released on police bail pending further investigations.

I suspect there is very little to investigate. Apparently they were syphoning fuel and no more than petty criminals. We've become spectactularly gullible if we belive people accused of a mass casullty terrorist event capable of starting world war 3 would be bailed within 24 hours of arrest based on posts on twitter. They are brown though.

Trump’s been talking about a diesel ban for over a week and it’s not just to the uk. The price of diesel in the US has gone through the roof and is at unprecedented levels and with the mid term elections taking place in less than 2 months the Republicans are struggling in the polls. A number of US politicians are promoting the concept of an export ban to reduce diesel prices at home, but the oil companies are resisting and pushing back. The North Sea will take a while to come on stream, but it’s something that has to be progressed. The UK now only has 4 operational refineries and we only produce 45% of our diesel requirements so we are vulnerable. The price of used diesel powered cars is falling while used 3 - 5 year old EV’s are going up in price.
| RAF Fairford on 09:42 - Sep 29 with 971 views | Wingstandwood | Now what is it to be? Is it to be a thwarted terrorist operation? Some poachers? A diesel heist? A county gangs meet up? Livestock theft for Halal purposes? Or a failed 'false-flag' attempt thwarted by a farmer who gatecrashed the whole thing? https://news.sky.com/story/raf | |

It does rather appear to be that way does it not, the clue is the fact that the American's were saying it loud and saying it clear. However that does not sit comfortably with the 'usual suspects' whom are only one or two postings away from claiming that it was stag party high-jinks that went wrong, with what they perceive to be negative publicity that was/is nothing other than discrimination and a vendetta against brown people.

I'm sure people will apologise for any false claims of racism.

Indeed, I think it was the emergency COBRA meeting that may have swayed many people's opinions even more? Apparently it was never set up to counter the threat of small time fuel theft and dogging etc that others believe are the real reasons behind the RAF Fairford incident.

So this has this been proven? "It'll be extremely interesting whether the alleged Islamic terrorists are 'home grown' born and bred British, and if not, it will be extremely interesting how they actually arrived on U.K shores, and by by what method? Could you imagine if it comes out that they crossed over from France via small boat, and were given free tax-payer funded support and accommodation" It's likely that some shady character, acting on behalf of Iran, has paid them to dp this under some pretence. They aren't terrorists, may well not be Muslim and they weren't being watched by anyone.

There hasn't been an attack or even a viable plan for an attack that's been stopped. It's pretty obvious there's intelligence for one being likely by either Iran or Russia. What does this have to do with Islam?
