I'm not sure it's that. I mean he's no Messi and I was never convinced he would be a replacement for Stewart, but he did come against Stoke and scored. He came on on another game and set up a goal. He's quite strong and physical. Tonda obviously doesn't rate him, doesn't trust him, feels he doesn't give blood, sweat and tears. You have to, if you play in a Tonda team. Or maybe they have had a row or Mubama has done, said something Tonda doesn't like.

I think yesterday we saw evidence that with Larin we are NOT going to get into the play offs even. Dobbin and Edozie are identical in that they flatter to deceive and have zero end product. By not signing a genuine Stewart replacement we have once again thrown a manager under the bus as we did the season Ralph got no decent striker in. |  | | |

It's a big problem. The news is that Larin's injury is actually a hamstring, nothing to do with the collision. So his injury will have been caused either by him injuring himself by unconsciously adjusting for his back injury, or more likely just general over use, which is the usual cause of hamstring injuries. Either way, that wouldn't have happened last year because he'd have been able to get some rest.
We definitely need to sign another centre forward in January. The really stupid thing is this was obvious in the summer. We should never have ended up relying on the unproven Mubama. Now we'll drop points and then probably have to over pay in January. | | | |
