We caught the no.14 bus, stopped in Archers Rd & we walked up through the cut way alongside the school. You can still see it today but it’s all overgrown, I wonder if the council are aware?

Another mate went on to play for Southampton Vikings Juniors, now that was good entertainment watching them nutters!
We stumbled holding on with one hand to the wooden rail along the side of the rink that had massive puddles, before finding a big gap to set off into the mass that was skating round in a circle.
You felt pretty cool if you made it into the middle where the competent skaters spay stopped & chatted.
Hits of the day being belted out & the cafe upstairs that overlooked the rink, a Sunday afternoon well spent. | | | |
