| Wrexham fined £75,000 for fielding 2 ineligible players on 14:03 - Oct 29 with 1314 views | dirk_doone | It didn't affect Middlesbrough. The EFL said they didn't give Wrexham a points deduction because it didn't affect results. Neither did watching training sessions. The Ipswich incident was just video taken by Eastleigh at their own stadium and shown to Saints. The Middlesbrough incident was Tonda asking the analysts if they could find out if Hayden Hackney was fit to play. We've never heard the details of the Oxford incident, but we lost that game. The "spying" that we did, didn't affect results because we didn't win any of the games that we spied on. Saints should be all over this. Why should we get a points deduction but not them. Our actions had no.impact on results, as we have continued winning without spying. | |

Do you honestly think our lot will go back to the EFL and contest their decision? For one thing, could we anyway. And another would it make any difference?

No, but one day, if we had an investigative journalist from Southampton, he might do some digging into Middlesbrough's role in the misinformation campaign and the Middlesbrough connections in the EFL and the disciplinary panel. It could make quite a sensational story.
