| Five things about West Brom 09:12 - Nov 4 with 764 views | PatfromPoole | 1. My favourite away day in the Championship. Love it at West Brom. Shame it was on a Tuesday and didn’t get the opportunity to drink in Brum city centre, but The Vine is always a good West Brom boozer. West Brom is so much nicer to go to than Wolverhampton, which is just a horrible hostile dump. 2. Thought our support was OK-ish, but little more than that. Non-existent in the first-half, but improved in the second-half, much like the team. As with the team, we need to be at it from kick-off. 3. Tonda proves at times that it is better to be a lucky manager than a good manager. 4. Another crap ref. 5. Mubama. That was his chance. He has to be returned to City in January, I’m afraid. My favourite too due to it being my first ever away game in 1976 on our FA cup run when our support was brilliant and the memory for obvious reasons will never leave me.i Couldnt make last night but been to the previous 3 plus many others there. 2. Saints sounded very loud on Sky 5. I agree re Mubama . Get Archer back who is scoring for fun at the moment . Dobbin should have buried his chance but I like him . | |

| Five things about West Brom on 11:59 - Nov 4 with 285 views | saintoaks | 1- Good drive up and down back by 1am 2 - Went in the Royal Oak for a beer (great set up) Sad to hear the owner of the Vine has passed (another cracking set up) 3 - Not an enjoyable first half, Nothing stuck when balls went into Edozie and the Man City bloke. We were definately short of talent with Larin, Jander and Scienza out. Flynn was excellent though. 4 - Tonda's very good at changing his tactics mid game, this was proved in the second half. 5 - Thought Dobbin was good when he came on (should have scored though) (6) What's happened to Fellows ? Looked a shadow of the player we signed. | | | |

Came across as a great (2nd half) atmosphere and feisty. Two teams going for it 3. Why was Tonda booked - they mentioned having a go at 4th official but he took the booking with Grace. Lucky and good 4. Just watching the re-run and if I was a Baggies fan I'd be thoroughly pissed off with Bree for conning the ref. But glad he did at that moment 5. As all on here know, Mubama is a waste of space out there

Tonda is blessed with a lucky streak. Combine that with being tactically very astute. Tonda has exactly what it needs to be a great coach. And we are very LUCKY to have him.

(6). I thought he looked well up for it against his former club. Even then, he only got a few mins. Hardly enough time to claim he’s a shadow of his former self.

Fellows isn’t good enough. Adam Armstrong was sold to cut the wage bill. I know which I’d rather have on the right wing.

Matsuki has really proved himself, but I like Fellows a lot, at the beginning of the season he was getting 4,5 or 6 good crosses in per game and with a big forward like Larin it made perfect sense. The lack of goals from Fellows has made the difference and is why he hasn't been picked, but to me he stretches teams, pulls players out of position and is a real threat. Hopefully he'll get another run soon.
