They are well known for booing their side, they often do it . Great fans my arse. When the spotlight is on them they whoare themselves for the cameras and are desperate for recognition but overall pretty shit fans who have had very poor crowds over the years, particularly in the seventies and eighties. I guess they’re Just not a footballing city. |  |

They are a footballing city. (Just not the 100% pompey the locals and media show)
Don't get me wrong lots of them do follow their local team just like any other.
However in my time there I have always found they have another/second team.
If not united, Liverpool or another London team. Fact.
Not proper passion.
