you can apply online to transfer a sum from your credit card to your current account (with Halifax anyway). You have to give a reason, from a selection offered.
Surely, this is an option?

Good stuff, and re your earlier question most credit cards if not all do charge for cash transactions so don't go down the ATM route. | |
