Necker.
Obama and his wife loved the place and were regular freeloader visitors there.

I used to buy my records from his tiny shop above a shoe shop in Oxford St back in the seventies and think it was cool for a “hippy” to be involved in the world of business. Years later, he was revealed as another self serving “bread head”. By suing the NHS and avoidance of taxes he has done himself no favours. I feel for the employees of Virgin, but he has made plenty of money and kept large amounts through tax avoidance over the years. Perhaps he should use some of his vast fortune to bail himself out?

Oh you are genuinely interested pal? I am not sure you do genuine
Pretty pretty pretty good so far cheers
A lot of what I do is R&D for months ahead so as long as we go back to a relative normality in summer we won't suffer, if it carries on through to Fall ad infinitum then problems will arise, although if the happens we will all be screwed

Happy days! I used to buy Sounds, the NME and Melody Maker every week to find out what concerts were on. You then had to send a stamped addressed envelope and a cheque to the relevant venue’s box office. A bit of a faff but at least then you didn’t have to remortgage your house for tickets!

It wasn't that long ago that staunch remainer Richard Branson, along with his mates Bob Geldof and Nick Clegg, funded an anti-Brexit group to the tune of £250,000 of his own money as well as the free use of Virgin's offices. And then of course - there was the time he sued the NHS to the tune of £328,000 back in 2016. He himself hasn't paid any tax to the UK coffers for 14-years. And now he wants a bailout from the same Tory government. Hmmmm.

Either way - Branson is in a bit of a pickle.

No matter what happens, the government will get slated with this...

Bail out rich man Branson

Let VA go to the wall, loads of jobs gone, cries of Nasty Tory party and give BA a bit of a monopoly

I think the Govt will protect jobs and go after Branson later....and of course, will get hammered for doing so.
