PJ Harvey 20:14 - Jun 21 with 2090 views | saint22 | What an artist she is, every album she has done but Let England Shake was rather prophetic if you listen to it now 9 years later
PJ Harvey on 21:24 - Jun 21 with 2043 views | Gennaro_Contaldo | I'm surprised you like her - she's a country girl, proper "English" and also ... pro-fox hunting (i'm not btw), but that doesn't normally fit your agenda.

Not sure where she has a home now, but I used to live 400 yards from her, but she sold that house about 20 years ago. I think her parents had a farm . I think she spends most of her time in the US now
PJ Harvey on 23:17 - Jun 21 with 1952 views | professor_peach | I think she comes from Corscombe. I lived in Yeovil in the early 90s. Used to see her in the Butchers Arns or in Acorn Records there. She also did warm up gigs in the Gardens nightclub in Yeovil.

Ive never quite got her music either, i could have gone to see her at the Joiners back in the early 90's but although she was the next big thing, It did nothing for me so I didn't bother going. Her mentor/producer/ co writer/band member John Parish was at one time in Winchester band Thieves Like us who I saw play a couple of times circa 1980 ish
