Don't think he is on as much as some of our top earners, wage wise, but I suspect there would be a large loan fee.
Also the fact that he wanted to go on loan in the first place to get game time in order to enhance his chances of making the England Euro squad, so he probably wanted guaranteed starts - oh and probably whopping bonuses if he helps us finish in the top 6/7/8 and if he makes the squad.
According to someone on here, he was already off to someone and had said his goodbyes, only for him to make the bench for the Arsenal v Man U game. Oh well, would have been quite good for us, but if he isn't coming, then let's move on. |  |

They said on Sky, it's taking too long to sort out and Niles wants to play in midfield rather than be a left back. Everton have come in from Josh King apparently but we need to bring someone in as left back as we only have Bertrand! Hopefully we will. [Post edited 1 Feb 2021 13:40]

I am torn at the moment.
On the one hand, I can't believe that we would let Vokins go without lining up a replacement.
On the other, I am not going to be at all surprised if this window closes without any experienced players coming in. | |
