Very naive of Kane to not have any agreement written in a contract, especially with Levy. Since when does anyone have a "verbal" agreement involved in contracts worth millions? Kane should have known and can't complain. [Post edited 31 Aug 2021 21:34]

Not according to Levy. It was down to interpretation and Levy had said there were certain conditions which needed to be met and they weren’t. Kane should know Levy long enough to know that you don’t play hardball against him and win. He needs to be asking his agent why a release clause wasn’t included in his contract. Why would he asked his manager Nuno about a release clause in his own contract?

Kane Has Clear Conscience on 11:06 - Sep 1 with 586 views | saints__fan__73 | Eh? Has he done something immoral? He's a 28 year old footballer who has played his entire career at a club which doesn't really ever win anything. It can be argued that his best days may already be in the past and he's looking to move to a club who will pay him more and who compete for the PL title. Who can blame him for that?

Exactly, but for some reason, Kane brings out the worst in the deniers of skill, ability and professional application.

I get what you are saying, but why did he recently-ish sign a new contract? Why not do what Mbappe is (appearing to do), just run it down? If Kane did not sign his last deal, he would be playing for any number of the powerhouses right now. Like Van Dijk. All feel hard done by but happy to take the deal the year or so before.

Leaving on a Bosman is a real shit house thing to do as it leaves the club with nothing in return. The signing of a new contract is a two way deal. It's good for the club in that it safeguards transfer value and in return the player will get an increase in his wages. Kane did this on the agreement that Levy would sell him if a decent offer came in from City but Levy went back on this. Again, Kane did nothing wrong.
