I see that there are no trains from either Liverpool or Manchester on the weekend of the FA Cup semi final due to engineering works between Milton Keynes and Euston , you would think that the railway network would avoid work on the weekend of FA Cup semi finals & finals.

There are a couple of options, both clubs could withdraw from the competition and let Saints & Forest contest the semi, or as both fans groups have demanded, get the FA to switch to a big stadium in the north, Old Trafford would make sense

I would of course take the first option of Saints playing in the semi finals. The other option, nah let them all struggle to get there and play it at Wembley. Although, second thoughts, it won't be a problem for Liverpool, as just below Arsenal, they are the 2nd biggest supported team in London. So not far to travel for them. Play it at the San Siro.

The vast majority of Liverpool or Man Utd ‘fans’ I come across do not live in the cities nor in fact have any connections with them. It shouldn’t be a problem getting to Wembley from Surrey or Essex.

No, you'd think the FA would avoid a Bank Holuday weekend surely? Majority of major rail works happen over BH's

Ask Blue what he'd prefer. He'd probably remind us that it's got nothing to do with us as we won't be there

Couldn’t the two owners have a massive game of FIFA 2022.

The Global Hedge Fund Socialists v The Saudi Regime.

The Bantz would be off the scale. Everyone could film themselves watching it and post it on their tik tok and Insta.

It will be phucking ace!

Why on earth would british rail look at football fixtures. Maybe they also need to look at every concert, rugby, cricket etc etc.

They actually do look at fixtures. not the everyday League fixtures, but they will look at the big games internationals and cup finals, perhaps they dont factor in semis, problem is they don't know who the teams will be in the cup games.

why would anyone give a f*ck about a game we're not in, the ones for Brighton are more relevant and annoying

There definitely wasn’t this level of disruption when I was traveling down to home (from London) and away games in the 90’s and 00’s. This has been constant in recent years the need to suffer bus replacement. What’s changed?
