The ticket price is a fairly small part of the overall cost for me.
I would probably spend not far off £100 going to a home game.

Also, the Skates will have 4 more home games, with far more 3pm Saturday kick-offs and far fewer moved by TV.

Do we have to look for something bad in Southampton Football Club in every story ?
The gist of the original post was that despite being a Premier League club Saints had still made football affordable to those on lower incomes by making season tickets available at a price comparable with League One clubs.
So what is wrong with that ?
I will give the club credit where it is due, yes it has a £1,049 season ticket offering a Premium package, but to counter balance that it is offering a £399 season ticket, it is catering for all groups.
The childrens packages for example are in a Premium package our under 11 package is £19 you are not comparing like for like. | |
