This weekend's games 07:15 - May 23 with 1685 viewskingslandstand1

Who'd fancy being in Leicester, Leeds or Everton's shoes on Sunday? At least we know where we'll be playing next season.

Everton at home to Bournemouth-on-the-Beach should be ok yet again sadly. Let's hope I'm wrong though.

It's just frustrating that such a low points total will likely be enough for safety this year. Any half decent run of results from Saints would have likely been enough for a last relaxing day looking down rather than up.

Boscombe have little time for Leeds after the fun and games down this way in 1990.

So you can expect them to be on the beach at Goodison on Sunday.

If Everton lash this up, it would be the biggest shock since No Kit Wash Mara scored a goal in the Prem.

If our lot had any sort of fight in them, I'd of loved it. A big one off game with so much riding on it is what it's all about. The build up, the excitement, the atmosphere etc.

However, with how we've performed this season, we'd have lost without even a whimper to any team we'd have faced which would have made it a hideous experience.

But we improved the squad this season.

I am somewhat perplexed.

Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you got to keep moving. 💯

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Am sure that those amongst our fan base that have a modicum of interest in the PL would gladly be in their shoes however, most of us realists can see it is pointless us being there and want out. Getting easily turned over week in and week out is boring.

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

Dont be perplexed, its quite a common thing in football, Chelsea considerably improved their squad this season, they have spent over £500 million and sold no one of any real note yet they arent even going to make the top 10.

It happens all the time, a club spends money improves its squad, but they underperform, Liverpool did the same, spent big only lost Sadio Mane of note and drop a few places, Spurs as well and I suspect a fair few other teams.

If football was as easy as just improving your squad and you are guaranteed to get better, wouldn't it be nice.

I hope this unperplexes you

You just know that the PL and VAR will ensure that Everton survive

That Everton result at Brighton is looking ever more dodgy.

Almost certainly there will be a VAR decision in their favour. How on earth could they have an all love in Merseyside derby if they go down

But will Moyes put a weakened team out against Leicester with a European final coming up, albeit over a week later

Everton will beat Bournemouth on Sunday.
Banker bet of the weekend. Well after a Liverpool away win.
Dyche will have them fired up.

WE MARCH ON

Bumfluff will be told to roll over and wave their legs in the air or face increased FFP investigations by the PL

Everton equalised in 9th min of extra time last game so you know the likely result already
