| We're live on Sky again against Stoke 09:52 - Oct 2 with 1608 views | GRIM | Tuesdays match against Stoke is televised live on Sky. We are getting a lot more TV coverage this season than we ever got in Premier lge. Despite some of the poor results, I'm actually enjoying it, Championship football is not all bad. | | | | |

I am in favour of this. Press reports are usually shite; get far more insightful and erudite comment on this forum. Yes, really. Donβt need to see what some West Ham supporting tabloid hack thinks of us.

The extra 15 means missing 2 possible trains back to Manc, leaving me sweating on the last train of the day actually running with an overtime ban and full strike the next day, unless there is little injury time and get lucky with bus back to station. π

Some of the reports in the Sunday broadsheets (read at my parents', as I don't buy newspapers) last season were particularly poor. They usually focused on the manager, or one particular incident and rarely gave insight to the game, goals or indeed the result. You could tell that the reporters rarely attended the games and this was further backed up by their player ratings (when provided). This season, we rarely get a mention, let alone an individual report on our games !!

When I was back home for the QPR game, I looked at the Sunday Mirror and People (?) which my Mum still gets each week, and it was an identical (useless) report in both rags π

Watching Saints away and not having more than 2 beers isn't going to happen for me. A few beers on train and chatting to randoms is a part of the away day experience for me. Getting into Manc at midnight might be fun with United playing Galatasary in CL. π
