Saints have allegedly gone back in for winger Morgan Guilavogui

Exactly who is he going to be crossing the ball to? 5'-8" Adam Armstrong or 5'-10" Cameron Archer.

Sounds like a typical Sport Republic signing

Winger

It's what Sport Republic do, every transfer window - sign loads of wingers. Sir Alf won the World Cup with his 'wingless wonders' while Sport Republic take Saints down with their winger w..kers.

This one appears to be a particularly bad one so we'll probably get him:

I think I read the selling club were asking close on £3.5m which the club baulked at, but now going back in with another offer.
But yet another uninspiring player/potential signing to go for and at 27 no real sell on value for our illustrious owners

Why Oh Why can’t these owners employ a respected, experienced manager to build a team on and off the pitch who will put together a good team.
Is it the manager that wants this player, I doubt It.

Makes no sense whatsoever this signing if it materialises. He's absolute dross looking at his stats. I know we're Championship but Jesus H Christ is this the best we've come up with in the scouting department?

I mean, who would want to put their life on Saints refusing a bid for Scienza if a Prem club were to offer double what we paid for him (or more)?

Are we all forgetting about our marvellous multi-club partnership? This sounds like another player that would be a perfect fit for one of our fellow spongers, sorry, clubs. We stump up the dosh and they naff off to Turkey the next day on loan. Wouldn’t be betond the realms of possibility surely?
Just a thought…

Slightly different to our dilema, but it seems not all re very enamoured with this multi-club ownership

Thanks for that, a very interesting article. I didn’t realise half the PL Clubs were part of a MCO initiative. Ours must be pretty naff though as we are ‘top of the food chain’ (arguably as the Turkish Super Lig is a schmuck’s League as Pat calls it), but I have yet to see a single benefit to us from it.

Well, it's certainly increasing the value of one of our goalkeepers. Mateusz Lis has kept 11 clean sheets in 17 league games this season, Only 9 goals conceded in 17 games must make him, statistically at least, one of the top goalkeepers in Europe. We'll soon be able to sell him for a profit to a top Championship club or maybe even a Premier League one. That's progress.

Our Brazilian centre forward, Juan, with 6 goals and 2 assists in 16 games, is increasing in value there too. So, we might make a few million more out of him. They sold his predecessor, Rômulo to RB Leipzig for £20 million, but, of course, Göztepe kept all the money. He's worth at least £30 mill now, as he is on fire in the Bundesliga this season with 5 goals and 3 assists in 12 games.

If only we had access to these top Göztepe players.

Oh well.
